What happens when a session expires
A session lasts one hour from the moment you accept the notice. You can extend it once, by thirty minutes, using the control in the countdown at the top of the page.
The countdown appears on the checking, results and export pages. It turns amber with ten minutes left and shows a prompt at two minutes. Neither interrupts what you are doing, but both are worth acting on.
When the session expires, the file, the extracted values and the explanation are deleted. Reloading the page will not bring them back and neither can we. You will see a general page saying the session has ended — it looks the same whether a session expired, was deleted, or never existed, because the page should not confirm to anyone that a particular report was ever here.
If an hour and a half is not enough time to check a long panel, export the values as a spreadsheet and start a fresh session. Nothing is lost by doing that.
